Save on Your Electric Bill — No Rooftop Required

Want to save with solar but can't put panels on your roof? Community solar is for you. Instead of installing panels, you subscribe to a share of a local solar farm. The clean power it generates earns credits on your electric bill — and you keep the savings.

How Community Solar Works

1. Subscribe — Sign up for a share of a local community solar farm. No installation, no equipment on your property, no upfront cost.
2. Get bill credits — The solar farm feeds clean power into the grid, and your utility applies credits to your electric bill for your share of the power.
3. Save every month — You pay a discounted rate for those credits, so your total electric bill goes down. Savings show up right on your regular utility bill.

Who Is Community Solar For?

• Renters — You don't need to own your home or your roof to save with solar.
• Shaded or unsuitable roofs — Trees, roof angle, or roof condition keeping you from rooftop solar? Community solar skips the roof entirely.
• Anyone who wants simple savings — No installation, no maintenance, no hassle. Just lower electric bills.
